    • Program Facilitator, Content Creator, Project Lead
      • May 2011 - Dec 2018

This role was incredibly varied. I developed, delivered and evaluated training programs, resources, products and services for face to face, print and digital mediums (for both health professionals and public). In addition, I managed a number of projects and coordinated several complex health education programs. I was heavily involved in content curation, editing and proofreading for print & digital media, fielded media interviews, conducted product and menu reviews, and have acted as an induction and training mentor to new recruits. I up-skilled in a wide range of areas including health & medical copywriting, project management, editing and proofreading, building and managing high performing teams, mentoring, motivational interviewing, media skills, and advanced facilitation skills. Some of my proudest achievements include spearheading an innovative pilot program with Jamie’s Ministry of Food to plan and implement a cooking course for teens and adults, as well as co-developing and successfully project managing the Sydney Weekender, a 2 -3 day event aimed at promoting mental and physical wellness and life skills for young adults living with Type 1 diabetes. I embrace my passion for food, health and wellness, while tapping into the many skills I have developed to deliver very successful projects with positive outcomes. Working in this role meant becoming a “Jill of all trades” delivering education and content across a wide range of topics such as foot care, exercise, diabetes management, medications and medical devices as well as becoming experienced at conducting one to one comprehensive clinical health screenings. This included conducting blood and urine tests, taking blood pressure, completing foot checks and nerve sensation tests and performing Ankle Brachial Indexes to screen for Peripheral Vascular Disease.I love learning new skills, continue to seek personal growth prospects and I relish any opportunity to positively influence the lives of others.
