Andrew and I worked together on a few big projects. He has a knack for finding efficient ways of doing things but never at the expense of building a quality digital experience. Beyond his own skills as a developer, Andrew has an amazing network of digital pros that he collaborates with to put out cutting edge digital experiences. I love Andrew's sense of humour. He has a way of making things fun, even during crunch times or times of crisis. I hope to work with him again in the future.

If you're a designer who's looking for a developer partner who really gets it - who's able to translate your vision into sites and apps that work, and work well, Andrew is your perfect collaborator. How do I know? He's been that partner for me.

I've worked with Andrew Mellenger for the last two years, and its been awesome. We've worked on some pretty complex and innovative websites and apps using Drupal, and he's great at coming up with innovative solutions and finding the simplest solution for getting the project done. He's put together a great team of senior people as well, meaning that any project hours are well used and get a lot done.

I don’t want websites to tell people how awesome a product or organization is: people should be able to tell from the experience they have online. The best way to get your brand messaging to stick with people is to encourage discovery and give people a reason to come back. The best websites are interactive and encourage repeat visits. Websites should be fun, informative, easy to navigate and useful. They should tell a story and encourage user participation. Ultimately, a website should solve a client’s communication problem and showcase a brand’s unique content. I believe in working with clients to design and build digital solutions that amplify their message, service or product. If the technology or web tool doesn’t exist to solve a problem, we’ll find a way to build it. Some of our long term clients include The Oppenheimer Group, BC Children’s Hospital, Turners & Growers, Urbanarium and the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. Show less

Haystack Instant Search is based on the idea that the fastest way to find what you need online is through typing. Developers spend a lot of time building sexy, incredible web features. But search? It’s usually an afterthought and never works that well. I wanted to create a tool my clients could use to quickly locate information on their own websites. It can be hard to find the exact right thing on content rich sites and frustrating for audiences, especially if the menu is confusing or someone is in a hurry. Haystack (for Drupal and Wordpress) works within the design of most sites and quickly gets everyone to exactly what they’re looking for. Plus, it learns what people want and returns instant, relevant results based on what the person is typing. Our clients don’t need to worry about Haystack. We make all the UX and functionality updates and we handle site indexing. Haystack doesn’t slow down website load times and it’s easy to install. Our analytics reports enable marketers or business development teams to learn more about their users and make sure they get the right information. . Simple, fast, and informative — just like the web should be. Visit haystack.menu to see how Haystack can help your website. Show less

At Grey I was responsible for building new relationships with clients, building out technical solutions to their problems and helping clients find new ways to communicate online. In my time at Grey, we were able to grow the business from a nice-to-have in-house offering to a large business unit bringing in a third of the revenue. We built next-level, award winning solutions for Wireless Wave, T-booth, Translink, BC Ferries, PHSA, Forestry Innovation Investment, Ledcor, BC Liquor Stores and others. Show less
