My relationship with Melissa dates back to April 2019. At this time, The Mid-America Club had advertised a networking event open to the public in a local newspaper. Being new to the city, I reached out to Melissa to inquire about attending. From the first email on, Melissa was exceptionally cordial, friendly, and informative. Upon attending the event, Melissa was welcoming and engaging. She introduced me to a member sponsor, who gave me a tour of the facility. I am a money-conscious individual, so I can say without a doubt that I was a hard sell for membership. Melissa persevered, however, in a way that did not make me feel pressured. She introduced me to countless members of the club that evening and demonstrated the social value it would have. She has a friendliness about her and passion for her job that are becoming increasingly rare in her industry. As a result of her effective and fun communication of membership benefits, I signed up that same night. Since then, I have been privileged to make many fantastic friends and participate in great events, all thanks to Melissa. Melissa shows an unparalleled dedication to her job, often working late into the evening, marketing and attending club events, and interacting with current and prospective members. Her many years of experience in the sales and hospitality industry are clearly visible from a member's perspective. That experience is echoed in her numerous sales accolades. While her professional and social skills are evidenced in my experience signing up for membership, Melissa also exemplifies strong personal values. She treats every member with respect, kindness, and professionalism. I am proud to call her my friend, and look forward to my next year of membership at the club. Melissa is a seasoned sales professional and it’s been a pleasure developing a partnership with her at the Mid-America Club. Together, we put together a Health & Wellness Event for our Members and Aon Center tenants which was a huge success and generated a lot of new business for us both. Melissa is very personable and a great networker. She is a natural connector and a very positive person.
