When I heard that the Spark Foundation was looking for a new ED, I immediately thought of Melissa and recommended her to the board -- and I'm glad that I did. She has done a fantastic job with pretty much everything that Spark is involved in. She learns quickly, makes sure everyone who helps her out gets appreciated, and seems to be very keen on the success of an organization she knew little about before she got hired. A hard worker with a heart of proverbial gold, she doesn't seem to hold back her energy and talents from whatever it is she's trying to accomplish.

Melissa is a rare find. She's someone who needs little to no direction to make herself instantly invaluable. She's fast, gets the big picture and pays attention to detail. I hired Melissa to assist with project and office management. She is super organized, anticipates what needs to get done next and takes care of it with ease. She's creative, collaborative and a total pleasure to work with. I highly, highly recommend her.
