    • Co-Chair of CNSA Ontario Regional Conference
      • Mar 2014 - Oct 2014

Volunteered to take on the role of co-chair for the 2014 Canadian Nursing Students' Association (CNSA) Ontario Regional Conference. We hosted approximately 160 nursing students from across Ontario and my role was to organize and oversee the entire event. Together with another student I raised over $14,000 in sponsorship to fund the conference. We organized 18 people to conduct a variety of seminars and workshops involving different areas of nursing. The conference was a three day event and included social events, networking events, and opportunities for students to learn about new avenues in nursing. Was able to balance a $35,000 budget with a small profit.Created the CNSA Regional Conference Travel Fund with our left over profits to help Trent students attend future regional conferences. This travel fund is to be awarded annually to two Trent Nursing students.
