      At the Marine Science Camp it is the Lead Scientist obligations to educate and promote coastal consciousness to campers in grades k-8 and at the high school level. Camp sizes range from 7-24 campers along with support staff members. This camp also teaches and takes water quality samples and fish identification for the NJDEP. The Lead Scientist position has to lesson plan for the week ahead, organize outside visitors to enhance the camp, communicate with parents and staff members, and teach hands on feet wet lessons to the camp. To lead the program and teach different activities to the campers as also oversee the different support staff members. This role is also in charge of taking care of all equipment and the management of camp site location.
