Melissa is a kind, empathetic and smart manager to whom I had the privilege to work and report to. Despite her operation and strategic background, she was able to cultivate collaborative, kind and goal-driven team and organisation. In her first 2 weeks at work, she was fast in gaining trust, understanding needs and creating impact through interaction with team members while having some difficult conversations. She's a leader who truly cares for the people around her with the genuine personality that one could ever ask for. Although I've decided to resign, she still committed to coaching me to be a better person and I'm always grateful for that. Any organisation would be very lucky to work with her.

      TRANSFORMATION PROGRAMME Malaysian Exchange Delivered the set up of the Company’s Transformation Management Office. Key deliverables include developing the framework, programme management mechanism and documentation of operating procedures for the operations of the transformation office. In the duration of the project, I was appointed to support the central oversight and coordinator as well as implement the roll out of 2 major programmes as defined in the transformation plan. The implementation of these 2 major programmes involved workshop facilitation, problem solving, regular reporting and milestone tracking. PROJECT & PROGRAMME MANAGEMENT Large Indian Telecommunications Company Project managed 2 major initiatives, i.e. Business Restructuring Programme and Finance Improvement Programme. The Business Restructuring Programme involved 3 major focus areas, and the Finance Improvement Programme involved 4 sub-units within the Finance function. My role in the project enabled me to raise project issues and address them in a timely manner, whilst providing regular updates to the CEO, enabling informed and timely decision making. The project lasted 2 years and the project was delivered with great success Government Unit Led a team of 30 in a data verification exercise and successfully delivered a 300 page report which included 25 focus areas. This exercise gave an independent review and provided comfort to the public of Malaysia on the validity of data reported. Despite not being involved in conducting the fieldwork, I was able to extract and understand project issues and quickly facilitated resolution of those issues.
