Our independent contractor rate grew 85% within a year, as well as the states we do business in doubled. When I came on board, we had 400 therapist(s) in 12 states. Today we have 1900 active contractors and are in 39 states and we are still growing. As the Credentialing Specialist, I handled the daily tasks of issuing contracts to both contractors and clients, updating and maintaining credentials of our contractors, verifying credentials, notifying contractors of missing documents or paperwork, creating a notification process to allow contractors to sufficient time to updates their credentials prior to them expiring as well as research states and specialties as we continued to grow.
