Environmental Health & Safety Compliance Administrator

Provides technical support for the Environmental Health and Safety Manager and the site Certified Hazardous Materials Manager.  Compile data for all internal and external reporting requirements including Segment, Regional and Global EHS&Q requirements and city, state, and federal environmental requirements.  Assists the EHS Manager, complete internal and external reporting.  Liaison between company and Workman’s Compensation insurance company including Job Safety Analysis, Residual Risk Reduction, and Safety Program Evaluation and Rating.  As a contract employee I lead individuals on light duty, for medical reasons, to complete value-added work. Reviews and maintain training records for compliance-based training.  Trains new employees on EHS guidelines for the plant as well as conducts refresher training for current employees.  Trains new contract providers on EHS guidelines for the plant.  Tracks the updating and review of EHS procedures and programs supporting the EHS department, including document review and updates.  Maintains industrial hygiene records, arranges for testing of employees (e.g., respiratory and hearing protection, and annual physicals). This encompasses annual exams for existing employees as well as initial exams for new employees.  Completed DOT Hazardous Materials training.  Utilized SAP for purchasing raw materials, plant planning as well as reporting inventory for rail logistics.  Audit contractor agreements and accounts receivables.
