GIS and Data Management and Support • Successfully captured and managed the cultural heritage surveys in GIS over the South Australian exploration and mining leases. • Generated GIS maps including geological maps, cross sections, and thematic maps. • Provided geological, GIS mapping and database support to the various teams, including data capture, digitising and registering historical maps. • Devised and collated the importation of historical state government drill data to assist in regional targeting and to construct a more comprehensive database of historical drill logs. Resource and Exploration Management • Determined how the mineral alteration zonation and assemblages control the deposition of copper in the Prominent Hill IOCG orebodies. This led to a greater understanding of the geochemical and lithological controls of copper mineralization. • Conducted geochemical studies on the cover sequence over the Carrapateena and Prominent Hill IOCG orebodies. Anomalous findings led to recommendations to adopt new exploration methods when exploring for IOCG deposits in terrains with deep cover. • Defined regional targets and compiled geological reports and maps in Jamaica based on the analyses of geochemical and other geological data.

  Coordinated resource, near-mine and regional exploration drilling programs for the exploration of IOCG and nickel deposits. Resource & Exploration Management • Identified and mapped the main lithological units comprising the Ankata deposit, which led to a greater understanding of the lithological controls on copper mineralization. This led to greater confidence in the resource model which ultimately led to the development of the underground Ankata mine. • Developed protocols and procedures for regional drilling programs in South Australia. This ensured that all geologists followed correct environmental, cultural and safety procedures for the successful preparation of new drillsites. • Coordinated and supervised the exploration drilling programs, and defined prospective targets for new regional drill programs. • Increased the confidence in the resource through infill drilling. The program also extended the mineralisation to a depth of greater than 500 metres below the 10 year pit shell, discovered a second mineralized breccia body parallel to the main mineralized breccia and discovered the gold-only zone west of the main orebody. • Completed the drilling and processing of diamond core within given timeframes, enabling the revised resource model to be completed on time. • Effectively captured and reported on the rehabilitation of drillsites to ensure all sites were made safe and rehabilitated according to government and company standards. • Managed and supervised core processing, provided onsite training to staff and contractors and supported the development of individuals within the team. • Trained staff, contractors and vacation students. Conducted further RC and diamond drilling that led to a maiden resource estimate of 56,000 oz contained gold. • Increased the resource confidence through RC drilling program of the Maybell gold deposit estimated at 40,000 oz contained gold, WA. • Designed and supervised drilling programs including AC, RAB, RC and diamond drilling. • Conducted geochemical sampling including soil, rock sampling, ground magnetic surveys and field mapping. Tenement Management and Reporting • Managed the Western Australian tenements including the compilation of annual technical reports, environmental rehabilitation reports and applications for work approvals. • Complied assay reports and maps for the board and the ASX.
