I joined the Stem Women In the Uk community through my university, Heriot-Watt University and it enabled me to join various seminars and speaking to different companies and employers . It helped with helping me narrow down what exactly I would like to do in the vast world of STEM. I spoke to amazing women and it’s such an honour to be part of such a community. I applied to volunteer to review student submissions for People Design Challenge helping shape the globally responsible engineers of tomorrow and I was accepted, I was elated. As I am part of the Engineers without Borders UK association , the timeline for reviewing these submissions were between 28th April 2022-12th May 2022. I attended a webinar for reviewer briefing and I was given a template on how to score and award points effectively. It was overall an insightful and amazing experience I applied to volunteer to review student submissions for People Design Challenge helping shape the globally responsible engineers of tomorrow and I was accepted, I was elated.
