  As the Public Outreach Coordinator, I oversee all aspects of public engagement to ensure SJTPO is meeting state and federal regulations. I produce written and visual communications materials to heighten and further support public understanding of the transportation planning process. I issue email announcements, flyers, press releases to inform, educate, and encourage public engagement. I oversee the preparation of public meetings, including the scheduling of public meetings, booking of venues, managing of interpretation and translation requests, and often facilitate and lead the public meetings. I serve as the liaison to the Community Outreach and Engagement Committee (COEC) and am the Title VI Coordinator. I also maintain SJTPO’s various social media platforms and its website, which is built on a WordPress platform. Show less
