  As the Director of Knowledge and Learning Products, I am responsible for ensuring our users receive information and education on federal acquisition topics that is current, accurate, and relevant to their daily mission as contracting officers. This includes serving as Chief Editor for all VAO publications, managing the training department and all training strategy, planning and executing innovative strategies to enhance the user experience, and managing a team with diverse roles and skills.

  For 15 years, I have been in training and learning development in some capacity. From teaching, to Instructional Design, to program management, I have been responsible for learning program development, content management, and administration of the systems that support these functions. As a Senior Instructional Systems Designer (ISD), I have 15 years of experience in instructional design. I have developed over 6000 hours of training materials for various modes of education, to include ILT, CBT, Blended approaches, mini games, and academic programs. My management experience includes managing the training department as ASI Government and I serve as the Director of VAO products and solutions. I have experience with project and time management, as well as team building skills, training coordination, and resource management. I have been both a user and administrator of Content Management Systems (CMS), and well as home-grown systems that belong to clients using platforms like Moodle. I am highly motivated and goal driven, with a desire to improve process and find solutions to training and education needs. I work well in collaborative environments and seek opportunities to mentor those new to training. I am an advocate for on-line training and education, as well as exploiting technology to enhance classroom training, the continuous learning environment and the work environment. Show less

I was also an Intelligence Analysis Instructor at the Defense Intelligence Agency.
