I was a 5-time Academic All-American and 6-time All-GLVC across all three sports (cross country, indoor track, outdoor track). I shadowed a Certified Exercise Physiologist and helped with ideas for exercise implementation and programming. I also worked on and completed a baseline exercise program project for a cancer survivor and also looked at data from the exercise study that involved statistical analysis for a relationship between pulmonary functional capacity and fatigue in subjects undergoing an exercise intervention. Summer Camp Counselor
-
May 2020 - Aug 2021
For two summers, I worked with groups of post-2nd grade children at a summer camp at our local YMCA. We would play games, both indoors and outdoors, we did arts and crafts, we swam, played in the gymnastics room and gymnasium when available, went roller skating, and finished the day with a movie before they were picked up to go home. On Fridays, we would either have a game day, water day, or we would go on a field trip to a nearby location such as the St. Louis Zoo, St. Louis Aquarium, or movie theater. Show less

Gymnastics Coach
-
May 2016 - Mar 2020
Worked with and coached children and adolescents between the ages of 2-15 how to do basic to intermediate gymnastics and tumbling skills. As a former gymnast with 10-years of experience (2008-2018), I used my skills to help teach the kids and help them improve their skillset and form. When I started working in this position in high school, I worked part-time year-round. After I went to college in 2018, this became a seasonal position until the department experienced budget cuts due to COVID-19 in March of 2020. Show less
