I work individually with a student who is developmentally disabled. I encourage her to reach her goals in her IEP as well as what she is capable of. I believe all children should be inspired to reach their full potential. I have mostly worked with students having undesirable behaviors. My passion and where I thrive is with them. I get to know these children by really listening, mostly when they think I am not, and we gain each others trust and respect where I can build on.
