G8 Education is one of Australia’s largest quality early childhood education and care providers. With more than 470 early learning centres across 21 quality early learning brands, they have over 10,000 team members who play an essential role in the lives of Australian families. As the Program Manager, I was responsible for developing, delivering and executing HR projects to transform the function and align practices across all our sites. I consulted with C-Suite and Senior executives in this organisational development role and led multiple strategic projects. These projects are related to establishing consistent people practices, workforce planning and systems implementation. In this role, I developed practices to support our leadership and operational teams in delivering exceptional service to our children and families. Achievements:• Led the $11M project over three years to uplift People processes and practices nationally. o Implemented a new HRIS, rostering time and attendance system (Kronos) o Reviewed all Policies, procedures, and processes to support improved people practices. o Developed change management strategies and embedment activities to drive better management and leadership practices. o Reviewed all legislative requirements to ensure system design is delivered HR, Payroll and sector-specific compliance on-scale.• Successfully Implemented Engagement and cultural initiatives through regular team feedback and targeted employee experience strategies, including: o Implemented social networking and connection platform and strategy (workplace) to deliver a connected experience for all Team Members. o Uplifted the national recognition program. o Combined customer and employee experience feedback to drive better outcomes for families.• Led and managed the G8 Education JobKeeper response attracting over $23K in Government funding a month whilst ensuring mental health support services were available for all 10,000 Team Members.
