Melissa Halstead was the administrative team lead for the IBM Degree Work Study Plan (DWSP) component of IBM's Academic Learning Assistance Program (ALAP). Subsequently, she became the administrative team lead for the entire ALAP program. I was IBM's Program Manager for ALAP. Melissa was an OUTSTANDING administrator in both positions. I received numerous notes and calls through the years thanking me for the terrific help that Melissa offered to her clients. In the seven years that Melissa served in that capacity I did not even have one complaint!!!! In addition to providing exemplary service to our clients, Melissa was able to anticipate the information that I would require and have it ready for me in a timely fashion, often before I even asked for it. Needless to say the information was always accurate and right on target. I have also had the opportunity to observe Melissa working with her colleagues. She was well respected for her knowledge as well as for her leadership. I would offer Melissa my highest possible personal recommendation for an administrative team lead position. Ron
