With a deep passion for the arts and identifying a gap in the ceramics market for a fun and functional homewares brand, I launched EL-AICH Designs. Demonstrative of my ambition and determination, my brand is now stocked in far flung places including New York, Berlin, Tokyo and many establishments within the UK. EL-AICH has received considerable press in publications such as The Guardian, ELLE, The Sunday Times, The Independent, The Metro, Time Out, House Beautiful and Ideal Home amongst many others. In 2019 I rebranded under the name Studio Solace to focus on a conceptual, refined range. I also launched Studio Solace Sourced, a range of pre-loved homewares from the past, sustainably sourced and restored, ready to be rehomed.

As one of Bristol’s leading art galleries, it was a privilege to work for It’s All 2 Much – home to street art from internationally recognised artists, and a hub of creativity for the city’s talent. Always open to submissions from up-and-coming artists, I actively sought out new and emerging creators to promote what we considered to be worthy of attention. In my capacity as manager, I oversaw the running of the gallery, liaising with clients in a warm and informed manner, curated exhibitions, as well as organising and promoting events in-house and in the wider community.
