The highlight of my career has been the 9 years that I spent working with Melissa in Better Sdn Bhd and CtrlShift Sdn Bhd. I have had the opportunity to observe and learn from her in action, from managing the publisher and partners team; to designing and enabling the entire company in developing the soft and strategic skills required for a digital marketing consultancy. Throughout our time, Melissa has been my consistent North star, to ensure that I was challenging and improving myself every day - as a person, and as an employee. Melissa's people management skills, attention to detail to design the big picture, and sincere empathy for her colleagues and friends have lead Melissa to hone her skills in the field of talent and culture. I have no doubt that Mel would be an asset to any company, as her tenacious spirit would ensure that everyone succeeds with her.

Melissa was a key pillar within CtrlShift as well as The Studio by CtrlShift. Being a people person, Mel consistently upholds a strong talent & culture development focus throughout both her roles as Learning & Development Lead @ CtrlShift as well as Head of People & Culture @ The Studio by CtrlShift. Need to take to also be mindful that her role was not just confined to Malaysia as her remit also covered other markets like Singapore, Thailand & Philippines. It becomes much more challenging to become a strong HR practitioner when one is not able to interact with the team physically but Mel managed to handle it with flying colours! Her past roles prior to pivoting her career into HR has definitely enhanced her ability to provide related solutions similar to that of a HR Business Partner. It is very common to hear current or past team members say that Mel is by far the best HR person that they've worked with. She will definitely be an asset to any company she's working with.
