Melissa and I worked collaboratively at Bemis for 14 years on The Home Depot and Walmart accounts. I found Melissa to be extremely conscientious and very focused on creating a winning strategy for our company and our customers. Melissa was instrumental in gaining business in various retailers including Home Depot, Walmart, Lowes, Target, and Ace to name a few. In her role as the Director and later Vice President of Market Development, Melissa was entrusted with a great deal of responsibility that she took head on. Her ability to develop a brand strategy, lead the Market Development team and coordinate projects and efforts between the various departments to ensure we remained on task was incredible. She is a natural leader. Regardless of deadlines and other pressures, she made sure we always delivered. During the years that I worked with Melissa, I have had the opportunity to observe her interpersonal style. She is pleasant, focused, ambitious, organized, and a motivator to her staff and peers. Melissa is a dedicated and enthusiastic individual and I am positive that her ability would allow her to be an incredible leader and asset to any company.
