Melissa Farthing interned for batteryPOP, the digital kids’ network, from February through April of 2022, and she was hands down one of the best interns that has ever worked with us. Melissa approached every assignment with a rare combination of enthusiasm, know-how and responsibility, and immediately positioned herself as a valuable asset to the team. Her attention to detail and willingness to ask questions at the right time gave us the confidence to put her on projects of all kinds, from fun things like creative work to production/editing to somewhat mundane tasks like content management. Melissa was responsible about her schedule, which was particularly tough in a remote setting, and was proactive in making sure she had all the info she needed to succeed. Everyone on the batteryPOP team would say the same thing - Melissa is a wonderful individual who will work hard, get things done correctly, and elevate those around her. The only negative is that the internship was too short and we wish Melissa was still with batteryPOP!
