  I worked for 8 weeks as a counselor for a group of 43 boys all going into the 4th grade. I was responsible for making sure the kids remained clean, hydrated, and healthy. We spent a lot of time together and these kids became my family. I was there for them to talk to when they were feeling homesick or having a difficult day, and they were there for me to put a smile on my face and show me the best summer I have ever had.
