Melissa is a leader through & through. She has very sharp and refined analytical skills which are key for generating maximum revenue. She also is a skilled negotiator and can ensure that clients receive the best in class services while ensuring that the property maintains profitability. In addition to her negotiation skills with external clients, she is equally as skilled with internal clients. She assisted in creating unity and clear lines of communication between the sales team and all other departments within the hotel which was severely lacking when she arrived. As a leader, she exemplifies the motto, "people matter." She always had an open door policy allowing her team including myself, to discuss professional and personal matters. She has a great emotional barometer and is able to communicate with all different personalities. I received a lot of professional leadership counseling in developing relationships with my team. And when I was wrong or made a bad judgement call, she provided great feedback that empowered me to remedy the mistakes and grow from it. Melissa earned my trust and respect from day one.

Melissa is the best boss ever! She is genuine, empathatic and understands her team members! She puts her team always first and will have thier back every time! I worked with Melissa for about a year and she thought me so many things but the most important lesson I got from her is how to go out and sell your product during a Pandemic! She is the type of Leader who pushes her emoloyees to grow! Their success is Melissa's success too!
