      In this capacity of my current position I am responsible for maintenance of 30 heavy to mid-sized duty trucks and over 50 pieces of heavy duty construction equipment. I also manage a shop crew of up to four employees at any time. During my time, I have implemented an effective Purchase Order system, minimizing expenses of the repairs to the fleets year after year. In year one alone, I minimized costs by just over 20%. Even during the trying times of COVID and supply chain breakdowns, I have been able to consistently maintain decreases in fleet operations. Due to my communications and direct relationships to various vendors I have worked extensively to drive a better pricing structure on items we frequently stock in-house for Preventative Maintenance (PM) to the vehicles. I have also implemented a solid PM program to track when trucks need to be serviced and to keep them DOT compliant.
