I recently had the pleasure of working with Melissa Chiavaroli, and I'd welcome that opportunity again without hesitation. Melissa hired me to keynote an UNconference at Cumberland Public Library, where she works. It was the first unconference she had ever planned, and it turned out wonderfully. Melissa was very organized and enthusiastic. From my role as a visiting speaker, I can say that Melissa was a great hostess and conference planner who took really good care of all my needs before and during my stay. From my role as a conference participant throughout the day, I can say that the event ran smoothly, that attendees were excited, and that I heard many positive comments about the topic (marketing), the site, the food, and the sessions. Every detail was well-attended-to. Seeing how tirelessly Melissa worked on this event to help her colleagues from around the Northeast learn more about marketing and promotion, I can only imagine what a boon she is to her home library every day. I could not have asked for a better person to work for. If you ever get a chance to work with Melissa Chiavaroli, take it! You'll be a lucky librarian.
