I teach a class created by myself and my research partner, Ilya Lyashevsky, called The Cognition of Social Emotional Learning. Our students learn about the cognitive science principles that underlie human emotional functioning. Students also keep weekly journals of their emotional experiences and analyze them through the lens of the various emotion concepts from the curriculum.
