      I was responsible for day to day operations including, running floor shifts, as well as setting daily sales goals and average guest check targets (AGC). Additional expectations included daily health and food safety walk throughs, addressing and finding solutions to guest, and staff issues, as well as handling all cash-outs and Point of Sales (POS) discrepancies. In addition, a primary role of restaurant management is to drive guest and brand loyalty in a highly competitive region. Responsible for all aspects of the recruitment process, including; resume auditing and candidate interviews. Employee development, staff onboarding, bi-annual performance reviews and disciplinary action was also a primary role. In addition, at this specific CARA location, managers were sent there for intensive training and development prior to transfer to their permanent placement. In addition, I Incorporated the scheduling of over 40 employees according to the restaurant's staffing demands. These schedules were based on past and projected sales goals as well as employee requests and calendar events. An on-call system was also used for attendance management when employees were ill or injured. Financial accounting included calculation and analysis of the monthly profit and loss statement (P and L), as well the preparation and auditing of the Grand ledger (G and L). Responsibilities also included the analysis of daily and weekly sales projections. In addition, weekly analysis of liquor Wine and Beer inventory and all food inventory. My responsibilites also included early recognition of irregularities in operational cost centers, detailed resolution approaches to guests concerns and complaints, and the development of a specific, measureable, attainable, realistic and timely approach to various operational issues (SMART).
