Promoted to Coordinator of Student Services Level 2 May 2018-Present Nominated to Co-Chair of Academics for Veterans (A’s for Vets). A’s for Vets is an alliance consisting of institutions of higher learning in the Greater Lehigh Valley which proactively endeavor to support military veterans seeking education. Coordinated and implemented Green Zone Training to over 110 administrators, faculty, and staff from surrounding colleges and Universities. Secured the sponsorship for this event. Worked with multiple individuals from different higher education colleges and universities to help improve the transition for veterans within higher education. Developed and implemented PSU-LV Adult Learner Mentor Program. Includes from recruitment, to selection, training, and connecting mentors and mentees. This program was started to improve retention among adult learners and engage them to the campus. Presented the program at the LVAIC,(Lehigh Valley Association of Independent Colleges), Conference in May 2017. School Certifying Official - 2nd Organize, develop, and implement workshops and activities for veterans, adult learners and other diverse populations Appointed by the Chancellor as one of two Adult Enrollment Coordinators to represent the campus. Coordinated off-campus housing fair event for PSU-LV 2 + 2 Students. Implemented charter buses and enhanced attendance of event from 12 – 54 students. Meet one on one with students to assist with budgeting and selecting housing at University Park. Created transition panel with former PSU-LV students currently at University park to share their transition experiences, student to student . The idea is share information to make the transition as smooth and positive as possible for the rising juniors. Created and implemented, and maintain,along with IT, the first text messaging system to increase student engagement in Student Affairs events at Penn State Lehigh Valley. Show less
