Reporting directly to the President of this highly profitable, 103 year old Communication company, I was in charge of all aspects of Human Resources, Benefits, Payroll and manage the business office and facility. My primary roll after my hire in 2016 was to facilitate the relocation of the company from Torrance, California to Plano, Texas. Initially, it was to be a complete relocation with the offices closing in CA and reopening in TX. However, the plan was amended to have the Texas office become a satellite office in lieu of the main Headquarters offices. The transition and move was complete in May 2017 and we officially opened our Texas doors June 1 2017. I was responsible for securing the office spaces for the company, designing and furnishing the space, relocating employees to Texas and securing all business licenses needed to operate. After we officially opened, I was responsible for recruiting and hiring individuals to fill the roles that were now assigned to work out of the TX offices. I have also been responsible for purchasing lease vehicles and managing company fleet and necessary insurance policies. In 2018 I sourced and purchased new health, dental, vision and life insurance benefits, earning the company a sizable savings. I left the company to relocate with my husband to Raleigh, NC.
