I had the pleasure of working together with Melinda at Freescale/NXP Semiconductors for over 6 years. With her as the Customer/Strategic marketer and myself as an applications manager, we worked closely together to develop customer relationships and deliver best in industry solutions. Externally, Melinda excels at anticipating the customer's needs and separating the must haves from the wants to deliver the best solutions at the best price point. She held a good rapport with customers engineers. Internally, she brought the teams together to set focus and drive the customer's priorities to completion. One thing I enjoyed the most about Melinda is her drive and desire to have a strong technical knowledge of the product despite her non-technical background. She would often seek my help in educating her about the key performance factors and product differentiators so that she could have a more holistic approach. It just demonstrated how much she wants to succeed at what she does despite the obstacles.

I worked with Melinda indirectly, as a member of the data science team that created the tools and reports that helped Melinda do her job. In the nearly 2 years I worked with her, Melinda was not hesitant to ask questions to learn more about the tools and data available, and was very much a self-starter. She has no problem trying to help drive change, and to seek new opportunities to improve her skill set or knowledge. I can say that I help support several hundred people in my role, and Melinda is someone that always was pleasant to work with and in assisting her, I usually learned something in the process. I would highly recommend her for any position that she applies for.
