As a Psychologist at OpenUp I have the honour to work with people from all over the world. Every single client has their very own story, their own spiraling thoughts and (mostly) a wide range of feelings that keep them on their toes. My clients start their sessions in very different phases of their struggles. What I observe in all of them is how empowering it is to face the shadow spots of our thoughts. How scary, how interesting, how vulnerable, how freeing! I am more than glad to live at a time in which so many of discriminating stigmata are rightfully being questioned. A time in which more than ever it is about who you want to be rather than who you should be. Undeniable there is still a way to go but I see a strong increase of people of all ages, genders and cultural backgrounds reaching out for support. I am glad to be able to be part of such growth. Together with my clients we explore their needs, try to identify supporting factors, learn helpful tools to face life´s challenges and letting go of more unhealthy coping mechanisms. Show less
