  My responsibility will be Coordinating Testing & Commissioning of all Electrical plant associated with Generation, Transmission and Distribution (either new or rehabilitated) in Power Stations and Substations in the Highlands Region of Papua New Guinea.Field Service includes assisting the Operating & Maintenance Teams for system restoration & reliability in Generation, Transmission & Distribution.Conducting Investigations and Analysis of faults within the Generation, Transmission & Distribution plants.Troubleshooting/Fault-finding of mal-operating Electrical Plant Equipment and Switchgears.Provide contingency plans and support services to respond to system breakdowns and restoration.Providing technical advise on electrical plant equipment upgrade and modifications.Coordinate and Conduct Acceptance Test of all Generation and Transmission/Substation plants intended for use within the Highlands Region.Develop and Co-ordinate Work Schedules for the daily operation of Test Branch Highlands Team in both repairs and testings to be conducted in the Electrical Laboratory and travels to Highlands centres for Testing and Commissioning Tasks.
