Dissertation focus was the Development of an Intraoperative Tool to Detect Parathyroid Gland Autofluorescence Built a near-infrared autofluorescence-based surgical guidance tool to detect parathyroid glands during cervical endocrine surgeries. Performed clinical testing on over 150 patients. Worked with commercial partners to create prototype and perform clinical tests on patients in support of FDA regulatory approval.
