Daniel Agee
Melanie Fox is committed to the education of her students, and is driven by her passion in economics in general, and development and health economics in particular. As a student who took her Global Political Economy and Developmental Economics courses, I saw that her classes contained a wealth of information, ranging from the easily accessible to more nuanced and difficult concepts. She was further dedicated to cultivating inquiry among her students, and went out of her way to help answer questions that resulted from the self-directed dimensions of her curricula. I am confident that all students who took an interest in her classes came away more knowledgeable as a result of her efforts, and in my case, the experience also helped to further stoke my own fascination in international and development economics that continues to influence my interests and outlook.

I have had the honor of working with Dr Melanie Fox on the campus of Austin College and as one of her students in her classes. While I have worked with Dr Melanie Fox I would often notice that she was the first on campus as well as the sometimes the last one to leave. Dr Melanie Fox has a commitment of excellence towards her co-workers and to her students. I give Dr Melanie Fox my highest recommendation.
