Mel's bubbly, outgoing personality and willingness to pitch in wherever needed quickly made her a team favourite. Highly organized and an exceptionally fast learner, she was able to juggle many tasks on tight timelines and she always did so with a smile. When we had the opportunity to extend Mel's initial contract in media relations at UofT, that's exactly what we did - and I can't think of a better testament to her work than that.
