My primary role thus far has been engagement on an agency/consultant basis with the Department of Transport Regional Offices, taking responsibility of all facets of client-side project management for various projects within Western and South-West Victoria. Pre-construction, this included the obtaining of various heritage and environmental approvals within government bodies, development of tender documentation, evaluation of tender submissions, as well as liaising with procurement with the tender award process. I also acted as a primary point of contract on behalf of the client throughout the construction phases of these projects, addressing day-to-day queries from internal and external stakeholders, as well as working within broader project teams to address major and minor commercial or technical matters. Throughout my time at RMG, some of my other responsibilities have included: - Preparation of scoping reports for DOT/VicRoads representatives to justify future project funding. - Design assistance for flood recovery works around all parts of Regional Victoria, in association with the State Bushfire Recovery Program Show less
