  Mel set up Steer Design in 2012 providing Interior design and consultancy to architects and working directly with clients and contractors. Using a varied portfolio of designers to offer a wide range of skills and experience, Steer Design offers a high quality turnaround when required and focused project members to every job. Current projects include: Mendip Studio School, new UKHO Headquarters, various office fit outs across the UK, relocation for a blue light headquarters within Bristol. Past projects include: IKB Studio School, the new BANES Keynsham offices and One Stop Shop, Tamar Court care home, Mercedes Commercials vehicle showroom; MOD office and visitor spaces; UWE social and learning spaces; various sized office spaces across the south west and London; pilot scheme for a leasing healthcare call centre wanting to increase wellbeing within the workspace; planning application plus Interior design and specifcation for several housing extensions including one of special interest in its area.   Mel worked on many large scale projects including B&Q Headquarters, Univeristy of London, Ebbw Vale The Works. Projects covered Workplace, Education, Healthcare sectors and led Mel to become the sole Interior Designer within the Bristol office after 5 years at the London office. I became a LEED Accredited Professional and a judge for Mix Interiors Awards (South). I have been a CAD Super-user, project design lead and gained experience in all stages of projects.
