  -Since graduating WAAPA in 2015 Mel Kay has so far toured WA & has also been flown out to mine sites to play through Big Skye Entertainment with her band Liberte. She has toured the Pilbarra, and Darwin twice successfully..Mel Kay is currently working on two commissioned projects. She is excited to be writing music for film for the Western Australian Electoral Commission this year.Mel has had multiple songs that she has written played nationally & internationally on commercial radio. Her recent track PHOENIX was nominated top 6/1400 in EDM music in WA at the WAM awards 2019. She also wrote a successful live original show in 2017 called: Personality Disorder Catalyst which was performed to full houses that year and the next. The live album also has been played and listened to internationally. Her music focuses on mental health, and empowerment for women.
