I am very much aware that in this globalization era, it is not only a matter of teaching knowledge to students, but also to teach our students to act local and think global as local and world citizen at the same time to value each other. If I could say it in a simple phrase would be “Unity in Diversity”. I do believe that as teacher we are not only teaching them knowledge but also have to be able to inspire their lives and also to make sure the students able to be and to show IB student’s profiles and attitudes, develop their skills, learning the concepts and at the end of the day, we want to see that our students will be able to choose, to act and to reflect. My name is Meilianny, I am Indonesian, 33 years old and excellent of health. I graduated from Economic Faculty of Pelita Harapan University majoring in Management with 3.10 GPA and have completed local teaching certificate program (Akta IV) and certified. I have been working in Tunas Muda International School - Kedoya Campus and Meruya Campus IB School as leading class teacher and I have learned that PYP teacher are required to be able to have a good team work and creativity and always make a room for professional growth. IB PYP curriculum delivers transdisciplinary learning and it is a holistic learning program. I describe myself as a creative, dynamic, highly motivated person, and able to lead and work with a team. I have good command in English written and spoken with a good communication and presentation skill. Have excellent ability to work with computer and willing to work the extra mile for my students. Through my teaching experience as PYP teacher, I have learned that we want to give the students a lifelong learning experience and a an educator , I also believe that I am also learning the same way with and through my students. I believe in IB philosophy and I would like to take part in nurturing growth together at your school.
