What is the most expected characteristic for a production engineer? I think it is sustainig the the production efficiently just as before without facing any problems and causing no harm to people and eqipments. If Mehmet is our subject, I can easily say that, (although he does perfectly those told before), this is not one of his top three property. Rather than giving orders or making decisions everytime, he spends most of his time on educating his operators, furnishing them with the most valuable informations, so that couraging them to take initiatives, which is a very rare and very precious specialty for a production engineer. It is not possible for a production engineer to be on site for 24 hours but it is a very comfortable feeling that there are people that you can fully trust in your absence.
