Key Responsibilities Conducted repair and maintenance duties on a range of devices including laptop and desktop computers, performed data recoveries, virus removals, GPU reballings, and restored, operating systems, files, documents and drivers, also resolved customer queries and complaints efficiently and in a timely, professional and friendly manner. Kept abreast of latest trends within the IT sector, using knowledge as a basis for providing an exceptional, knowledgeable service to new and existing customers. Identified faults within computer systems and hardware, and provided reasons for failures, also implemented an array of solutions, ensuring problems were resolved, which included; replacing and repairing defective and faulty parts (hard drives, memory, processors and power supply units), performing upgrades, and installing new software (operating systems). Delivered an excellent level of customer service, identified customer needs and ensured that any maintenance or repairs duties were in line with customer needs and the best possible solution was provided, also utilised internal systems to keep an accurate record of customer information and interactions with the business.
