PROJECTS (in collaboration with UNICEF): 1) To carry out analysis of the Education Sector in Uttar Pradesh and make recommendations to the Uttar Pradesh Education Department to do deeper analysis of the same. - Assimilated Secondary Data for all levels of Education system in Uttar Pradesh. - Built Linear regression and Multiple Regression Models to explain the behavior of the Elementary Completion Rate (ECR) and School Life Expectancy (SLE) on an array of variables like Government and Private Schools, Regular and Contractual Teachers, Male and Female teachers, etc. 2) Suggestions for the Fifth State Finance Commission (Uttar Pradesh) for developing Financial Allocation Policy in favour of Women and Children - Conducted research on various Policies and Schemes of the Central Government and the amount allocated under each of them to Uttar Pradesh. - Explored Critical Gaps in Social and Human Development Issues that need to be prioritized like Health, Drinking water, Cognitive Capital, Child Protection, Social registry and Japanese Encephalitis. - Made recommendations to bridge these Gaps and proposed Financial Allocations for the same.
