Meghen interned with WinWholesale for the summer of 2013 and in that time she was required to take a template website and customize it for a new locations. She was able to exceed our expectations and produced sometimes multiple websites a day. She also added to our process by refining different design aspects of the site. I'd highly recommend Meghen for her approachable personality, professionalism, dedication and creativity. She's a smart designer and sure to be a valuable asset for any team. I hope to work with her again in the future.

I had the opportunity to work alongside Meghen during her internship at WinWholesale. She was a great asset to our team during that time and was able to complete a large volume of work in a short amount of time. Her ability to take on many projects from day one and hit the ground running provide a positive impact to our business. She successfully designed and launched countless websites early than scheduled. This allowed us to allocate resources to other marketing initiatives and reduced our production times. Meghen was also a great cultural fit within our office and was very eager to learn not just the graphic design and marketing functions but the overall landscape of the business. Meghen's work ethic, artistic ability, knowledge of graphic design and positive attitude would make her an excellent addition to any organization.

As a graphic designer at the Ohlmann Group I have taken on a variety of projects including: web design, posters, infographics, video animation, invitations, brochures, logo design and packaging. All projects brought to the Ohlmann Group, go through the hands of our Creative Director. Once there is a clear understanding of client needs and style, the process that follows includes: brainstorming, design, critique and revisions. This process creates a design piece that is directly related to what the client is requesting to eliminate multiple rounds of unnecessary design revisions. When working on a website project, I work closely with our web developers to design a precise representation of final product for client review. Close collaboration throughout the design process improves the design / code transition for faster turn around time.

As a server at bd's Mongolian Grill, it was my job to ensure that each and every guest experiences "Mongo Magic." I had to ensure that each guest knew the proper steps to a great bowl of stir-fry. Throughout their visit, I was to guarantee that each guest has their desired amount of drink, tortillas, and rice. I've helped take care of parties ranging from 1 to 40+ guests. To maintain status as a server, it was my responsibility to sell at least 23% of sales on a monthly average (appetizers, soda drinks, alcoholic drinks, etc.). I sold above 23% 12/14 months I had been working as a server. I was also responsible for keeping up with side-work; stocking ice coolers, replacing glass racks, pulling fresh rice, etc. I was just ranked #1 on side-work out of all of my co-workers in a storewide survey where we each had to rate one another on a scale of 1-10. I finished with an average score of 9. I was hand picked by our General Manager to be a server Specialist. As a Specialist I would spend 4 days with a newly employed server who shadows everything I do. It was my job to ensure they knew everything there was to know about the expectations and rules as a bd's Server.

I was hand picked by the Digital Creative Manager at WinWholesale to help with Local Company Websites. I was working in Joomla to tailor each website to each individual Local Company. After just 6 weeks, I was able to complete over 50 local company websites. From there, I was able to assist the marketing team with other projects on their list.I was awarded a special company bonus for accomplishing far more tasks than originally assigned. As my first job, I wore many hats during my 2 and a half years in this small town restaurant. I started off working in the kitchen, learning the art of pizza making. This also entailed working as a cook, completing food orders other than pizzas; such as subs, food platters, and salads. From there, I worked my way up to Delivery. My little red Volkswagen Cabrio that soon became known all around town. As a driver, I was responsible for taking the most time efficient route to multiple houses at once. Here I memorized all of the country roads within a 10-mile radius of the restaurant, and new many of our customers on a first name basis. I was also responsible for running the drive-thru and ensuring that all cooler products remained cold and rotated properly. I also worked some nights as a server. I would take customers’ orders, serve their food, and ensure their dining experience was enjoyable at all times.
