As the Marketing & Communications Manager at Ticket to Dream, I oversee the implementation of Ticket to Dream’s development strategies, including media and marketing strategy and execution, managing donor relations, creating fundraising proposals, and organizing outreach efforts. I serve as a spokesperson in speaking engagements and press to further the reach of Ticket to Dream’s goals. Additionally, I oversee various aspects of our annual golf tournament, which to-date has raised over $7 million to help foster kids just be kids.

I started with the Sleep Country/Sleep Train/Mattress Firm Foster Kids program, a program of the Ticket to Dream Foundation, in 2014 as a Program Coordinator. During my time at Mattress Firm, I oversaw the Foster Kids program partnerships, including the growth of the program from 4 states to 43 states. This involved researching & vetting new agencies, gaining Ticket to Dream Foundation board approval on each new agency, and the on boarding of each new partner. During this period of growth, Foster Kids’ partnership grew from approximately 70 non-profit agencies to nearly 200 non-profit agencies nationwide. In addition to overseeing the charity partners, I also worked with multiple internal departments and over 3,500 retail stores to ensure the Foster Kids messaging was on-brand and representing the best interest of the child.
