As Regional Director, Meghan is responsible for guiding and managing ESD's Mid-Hudson Regional Office and Regional Economic Development Council initiatives within the seven county region (Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster, Westchester). She is charged with sourcing, originating and developing a robust pipeline of new deals, implementing new programs that are consistent with ESD and the Regional Council's policy objectives, structuring discretionary incentive packages for businesses and not-for-profit entities, guiding deals through the necessary board and public approval processes and creating and maintaining strong working relationships with external clients. Under Meghan’s leadership the Mid-Hudson Regional Economic Development Council has secured over $258 million to fund 327 projects. In addition to the successes the Region has had through the CFA process, she has also been instrumental in attracting and retaining many companies in the Region outside of that process.Meghan and her team work alongside their constituents to develop economic strategies to position the seven county Region for the future.

As the Director of Business Attraction for the Orange County Partnership I am responsible for interfacing with site selectors, brokers, corporate real estate executives and property owners to help market Orange County. I define the strategies to be used for external real estate marketing and work in conjunction with the President/CEO and the marketing coordinator to develp these strategies for economic business growth in the county. - Created marketing programs that have lead to the attraction or expansion of 48 companies creating over 1,300 new jobs and over $500 million in capital investment to Orange County, NY (projects included manufacturing, distribution, office/service, R&D, tourism and agri-business) - Secured state and local economic development incentives including utility incentives and workforce training incentives - Cultivated relationships with key federal, state and local government officials that included advocacy and policy briefings. - Managed the "deal" process from identifying real estate, to obtaining state and local permits (SEQRA process, DEC permits, building/site work permits), to completing RFP's conducting site tours, and moderating negotiations
