Studio Coordinator, RE-create Outreach Art Studio
-
May 2012 - Oct 2017
Studio Co-ordinator at RE-create Outreach Art Studio, a program of Shalem Mental Health Network. I ran a therapeutic drop-in art studio for youth ages 16 to 24 who faced socio-economic barriers, or lived with mental health challenges, . As the only full-time staff for most of my time there, I had the chance to learn about every aspect of non-profit management and program development, and learned that I love grant-writing. This experience inspired my pursuit of my Masters of Social Work. Studio Co-ordinator at RE-create Outreach Art Studio, a program of Shalem Mental Health Network.
