  I lead the Office of Environmental Sustainability at Oberlin College and Conservatory. I focus on strategic development and implementation of College’s energy, utility, and sustainability initiatives, projects, and programs while collaborating with a diverse group of stakeholders, including students, faculty, staff, the Board of Trustees, and community partners. I utilize my technical energy engineering expertise, together with my background in planning and facilitation to foster a culture of good environmental stewardship to help create the most vibrant, healthy, and sustainable College for all to learn, teach, work, play, and enjoy. Specifically, I am responsible for developing and implementing strategies to sharply reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions at the College. I am a key member of the Committee on Environmental Sustainability, which promotes implementation of the Oberlin College Environmental Policy, and I support and serve the planning group for the Oberlin Project; a college-city partnership and model of integrated sustainability.
