This position involved remote collaboration with an internationally dispersed team, and researching and implementing agile methodologies to various learning settings to test whether student success and engagement is improved when learning material is taught using agile processes and studied using agile methods such as Scrum. One of the major pieces of work that I carried out was creating hands on and simulated lab exercises and tutorials with GNS3 software, organized into sprints and in Jira, for a College level Computer Networking program. Further to this I organized a University level Research Methods course into sprints and user stories in Jira so that the success of using agile methodologies in a various learning settings can be tested. In addition, I created the experimental design to provide a method to test whether the success of the project. This position also involved locating and organizing a number of relevant peer reviewed journal article and studies on the subject of agile learning to contribute to the larger implementation of agile processes in learning environments headed by doctoral students.
