  I'm a substitute at the JCCC Heirsteiner Child Development Center. I take care of infants and children from the age of 18 months to 5 years. I have been working there for over a year now. We do a regular schedule of morning drop off, morning snack time, play time, small group time, free time, lunch time, nap time, snack time again, large group time, outside time, small group time, and then free time again and they get picked up. I go from room to room and help out by cleaning up, helping with nap time, diapering, play time, well basically everything you can think of with children! I do have a regular schedule that I have been assigned to specific rooms, but if another room needs a sub and they ask me to come over and help, then I do. I love my job, its just like being a mom, even though I'm not one yet. It takes hard work and dedication and I give it my best every time. Show less
