During my time as a cohort member for the City of El Paso, I worked with the Learning and Innovation Department, as well as several other city employees to create a training boot camp for new supervisors. My responsibilities included assessing the department's needs to identify knowledge gaps of new supervisors, gathering feedback from stakeholders to understand their training requirements, and collaborating with team members to develop training modules, materials, and resources that cover essential policies and procedures.I played a key role in creating engaging and informative training content, including presentations and multimedia materials. I worked with the HR department to ensure that the content was accessible and understandable for a diverse group of participants from different city departments. Additionally, I took detailed notes during meetings and maintained records of the training program's development and implementation.I constantly looked for opportunities to improve the current policies or training materials to better serve the needs of new supervisors.
